Know indie builders who need their first customers? Share First10 and earn 20% of what each customer you refer pays us, for 12 months.
The terms
- Commission: 20% recurring for 12 months from the referred customer's first payment, on what we keep after refunds, chargebacks, taxes and payment processing fees.
- Cookie: 30 days. If someone clicks your link, signs up or buys within 30 days, the sale is yours. The last link clicked wins. The 30 days apply when the visitor accepts our cookie notice; if they decline, the link only counts for sign-ups and purchases in that same visit.
- Hold: each payment is held for 30 days before it is payable. Refunded or charged-back payments earn nothing.
- Payouts: handled by hand, by email, once a referred customer has paid and the hold has passed.
- Disclosure is required: wherever you share your link, say clearly that you earn a commission (for example “affiliate link”), next to the link and in the same format as the recommendation.
- Not allowed: using your own link for yourself, bidding on “First10” as a search keyword, spam, misleading claims about the product, or posting where a community's rules forbid promotion.
How to get a code
Email hello@first10.dev with your name and where you plan to share First10. We reply with your code and your link, which looks like first10.dev/?ref=yourcode. There is no sign-up form and no dashboard yet: we send you a short summary of referred signups and sales by email.
After the visitor accepts our cookie notice we keep a first-party cookie with your code for 30 days so the sale can be credited; see Privacy. We may change or end the program at any time; commission already earned stays payable. First10 is operated from London SE9 2NT, United Kingdom.
