RedShip vs Redreach vs First10

Short answer: all three find Reddit posts from people who are already asking for a product like yours, and none of them posts public comments for you. Pick RedShip (redship.io) if you also want to track competitors and see which Reddit threads rank on Google and get cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. Pick Redreach (redreach.ai) if you want SEO opportunities plus automated Reddit DMs and a built-in DM CRM. Pick First10 (first10.dev) if you want one ranked email of Reddit posts with a reply draft for each, nothing to log in to, and a free weekly plan with no trial clock.

What they have in common

None of the three is a plain keyword alert. Each one reads your website or product description, works out what you sell, scores Reddit posts for how close they are to what you do, and helps you write a reply that you post from your own account. That last part matters: many subreddits ban self-promotion, and Reddit often removes comments that look automated. All three say plainly that they will not post public comments for you.

Where they differ

  • How often leads arrive. RedShip checks every morning on both plans. Redreach's $19 Startup plan finds new leads weekly; daily needs Growth ($39/month). First10 is weekly on the free plan and daily on Solo ($19/month) and Pro.
  • Direct messages. Redreach sells automated Reddit DMs through its Outbound Chrome extension (30 a day on Startup, 100 on Growth, 500 on Professional) with a CRM to track replies. RedShip and First10 do not send DMs; First10 never posts or DMs for you on any plan.
  • SEO and AI search. RedShip adds weekly Google-ranking threads and weekly AI-citation tracking; Redreach adds monthly SEO opportunities. First10 sticks to people asking for help right now.
  • Where you work. RedShip and Redreach are apps with dashboards, alerts and an MCP server and API for AI assistants. First10 has nothing to run: you describe your product once and a ranked email arrives.
  • Trying it. RedShip sells a $12 7-day pass and Redreach a $12 3-day pass. First10 has a free plan that doesn't expire, plus a $9 one-off First Look report of up to 25 posts from the last 30 days.

How First10 works

  1. Describe your product in one line, or paste your site.
  2. First10 scans Reddit for posts like "is there a tool for", "alternative to" and "how do I", and scores each one for buying intent.
  3. You get one ranked email with a short, honest reply draft for every post. Reddit today, X coming soon. First10 never posts or DMs for you.

Questions founders ask

What is the difference between RedShip, Redreach and First10?

All three find Reddit posts where people are asking for a product like yours and help you reply from your own account. RedShip checks all of Reddit every morning and adds competitor tracking, weekly Google-ranking threads and weekly AI-citation tracking. Redreach finds posts from your website and competitors, adds SEO opportunities, and also sells automated Reddit DMs. First10 (first10.dev) emails one ranked list of Reddit posts with a reply draft for each, with a free weekly plan.

Which one is cheapest?

As of October 30, 2026: Redreach Startup is $19/month (weekly new leads), RedShip Founder is $29/month (daily), and First10 Solo is $19/month (daily, top 10). First10 is the only one of the three with a free plan (weekly email, top 5 posts, 1 product). RedShip has a $12 7-day pass and Redreach a $12 3-day pass; First10 has a $9 one-off First Look report.

Do any of them post replies for me?

None of them posts public Reddit comments for you: RedShip says it never sends the reply for you, Redreach says you post from your own account, and First10 never posts or DMs for you. Redreach does sell automated Reddit DMs (30 a day on Startup, up to 500 on Professional) through its Outbound Chrome extension; First10 and RedShip do not send DMs.

Which one helps with Google and AI search?

RedShip includes weekly SEO opportunities (Reddit threads already on Google's first page for your keywords) and weekly tracking of what ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini cite. Redreach includes monthly SEO opportunities (search-ranking Reddit posts). First10 focuses on people asking for a product like yours right now and does not track rankings.

Do I need a website?

Redreach says it currently needs your website. RedShip starts from your website. First10 (first10.dev) asks for a URL first, but you can click "No site yet? Enter details manually" and describe your product in a line instead.

Is First10 the same as first10.co?

No. First10 (first10.dev) is a separate product and is not connected to first10.co, getfirst10.com or first10.ai.
